Local Immigration Partnership (LIP)

The Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) is a special initiative to facilitate the integration of immigrant newcomers into the community. LIP members are local employers and service providers who play important role in the integration process and work together to make the integration process faster and smoother. The current LIP Council members are:

  • Martina Bancroft, Regional Economic Development Officer, NP Economic Development Commission
  • Panebi Oboh, President, Pan-African Caribbean Association
  • Lana Thompson, Care Coordinator, Northern Health
  • Heather Desarmia, Public Relations and Social Media Specialist, NP Savings and Credit Union
  • Michael Kurvers, PR Officer, Fort St.John Detachment, RCMP
  • Anne-Marie Pham, Manager, Diversity & Employment Equity, Spectra Energy
  • Colin Chadwick, General Manager, Staples Ltd.
